Breach Review

Breach is a game available on PC and Xbox 360 arcade, I believe. It is a realistic fps game made by the developers of some U.S Army computerized training program or something. This game is sort of like a wannabe Black Ops. Classes: Rifleman, Support, Sniper, and something else I forgot (sorry). The unique thing about this game is that you can destroy much of your environment such as wooden buildings and stone buildings. Time to cut to the chase (Did I get that saying right?). Breach is an okay cheap game. The bad things are that, you won't find many people using their microphones, and considering this game was made for teamwork, that isn't a good thing. The playerbase has also declined from when it came out and the sprinting in the game looks weird. Lastly, the controls take a little while to get used to. This game is 1200 microsoft points if you want to buy it.

Monday Night Combat Review.

I'm sorry I haven't posted in a while, I've been busy. Anyway, a game  came out a little while ago called Monday Night Combat. It's a class-based game that many have been calling a mimic of Team Fortress 2. There are five classes: Assassin (instant kill backstabs), Tank (flamethrower-like guy), Gunner (mini-gun), Assault (self-explanatory), and Sniper (self-explanatory). There are also two game modes: Crossfire and Blitz. Blitz is a co-op mode where you and possibly others, face off against multiple rounds of robots. There are quite a few type of robots. Those robots try and get to your moneyball, a ball that your team needs to protect and is in your base. Usually, players build turrets around their base (well, always if they are smart).

In Crossfire, two teams: the Icemen and the Hotshots try and destroy each other's moneyball. It is a 6v6 type of match, where bots must be purchased from people on either team to help destroy the moneyball. Overall, I would say this game is horrible and is not worth the $15/1200 microsoft points. After you play it for a while, it gets boring. It's especially boring if you like to use your microphone alot because there are barely any players with microphones who play this game. So don't get this game. You're better off getting a game like Castle Crushers.

Insurgency Review

Insurgency is a Source Engine modification and requires a Source Engine game to play it. BUT I CAN GET IT TO YOU FREE AND ITS LEGAL! MORE INFO AT THE END OF THE POST!

Insurgency is sort of like a free version of Counterstrike: Source. In this game you play as either the insurgents or the U.S Marines. You can guess what you do from there. However, what makes this game different or better than others?

This game is more realistic than other fps games. First of all there is no crosshair with which to aim. You have to use the iron sights. Shooting in specific areas in the body will get you a quick kill. It takes only a few shots to kill an enemy, just like real life.  I really like this game and its really fun. Graphics are good and the weapons are awesome.

IF YOU WANT TO GET A SOURCE ENGINE GAME FREE, DOWNLOAD STEAM FROM http:/steampowered.com AND THEN SEE MY YOUTUBE VIDEO http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XGwP1qklxqk

If you have any questions, feel free to leave a comment.

Age of Chivalry Review

Age of Chivalry is a Source Engine modification. As in, you need a Source Engine game in order to play. These include: Team Fortress 2, Half Life 2, Portal, Counterstrike: Source. BUT DO NOT LET THIS DISCOURAGE YOU FOR I KNOW HOW YOU CAN GET IT FOR FREE! IT IS LEGAL AND SAFE. YOU WILL NEED STEAM FOR IT TO WORK. MORE INFO CAN BE FOUND AT THE END OF THIS POST.

Age of Chivalry is a game taking place during the medieval times. There is only a multi player mode. You can be on either of these two teams: Agathia Knights and the  Mason Order. In this game you complete the objectives in order to win. Objectives may include: saving the prince, breaching the castle walls, defending the castle, killing captives, polluting aqueducts, etc. As you can see this is not a regular game of just controlling checkpoints and killing each other. It is definitely more fun than that!

There are 9 classes: Longbowman, Crossbowman, Javelineer, Guardsman, Crusader, Knight, Man-at-Arms, Heavy Knight, and Sergeant.

Garry's Mod Review

IF YOU LOVE BEING CREATIVE YOU MUST READ THIS POST!

Garry's Mod is a physics sandbox game where you can create almost ANYTHING. In single player , there is no goal to achieve in the game. The goal is left up to you. You are supplied with an arsenal of weapons, npc's, tools, and objects in order to build, fight, or do anything you want. However, in multi player, there can be goals. There are several different game modes for multi player: Sandbox, Jailbreak/Gjail, Trouble in Terrorist Town, Roleplay, Flood Mod, Zombie Survival, and More!

Sandbox: Just like single player, except surrounded with other players

Jailbreak/Gjail: In this game mode you play as either a prisoner or guard. One of the guards, the warden, gives orders to the prisoners. The guards have to enforce the orders. If the rebels do not follow orders or try to rebel, the guards kill the prisoners.

Trouble in Terrorist Town: I know the title is weird :) but it is a fun game. In this game mode, traitors try to kill innocent terrorists (oxymoron lol) while the innocents, aided with the detective, try to find who the traitors are and kill them. It is a fun game mode.

Roleplay:  One of the most fun game modes! In this game mode, you choose a job and play as that role. For example, is you play as a gun dealer you have to sell guns. If you play as a gangster you follow the mob boss and mug people. If you play as the cop, you enforce the mayor's laws.

Flood Mod: In this game mode, you have a few minutes to build something that will float, with limited supplies though. (You can earn more later in the round) After the build phase is over, you hop onto your contraption/boat and the whole map is flooded with dangerous water (As in if you get into the water you lost health). While the map is flooded, the different teams try to destroy each others' boats with the weapons that they have. The last person alive wins the round and wins some money with which to buy supplies and weapons.

Zombie Survival: The objective of this game mode is pretty simple. If you have played Zombie Panic Source, then you know what this is like. In this game mode, you play as either a zombie or a human/survivor. The zombies have to kill the humans. When a human is killed, he joins the zombies. The round ends when all zombies are killed or all humans are zombified/killed. Humans are armed with guns, zombies are not. Also humans have the ability to make barricades and things like that in order to ensure the survival.

So there you are, the best game modes described for you up there. If you plan on getting this game make sure you are familiar with these game modes before playing them because it is not fun being a noob while playing these.

CONS:  (Yes, they are inevitable)
  • Garry's Mod will only work if you have a source engine game on the computer you wish to install it on. This is because Garry's Mod is a modification of the source engine, made by Valve.
  • In order to have the best experience in multi player, you will need to either have Counterstrike: Source and Half Life 2 (both source engine games) or you will need to go to garrysmod.org in order to download (for free) the files for textures and models that do not come with the game and are needed to have a smooth multi player experience. This is an important thing to remember!

BUT DONT WORRY, BECAUSE THERE IS HOPE FOR YOU!

I can get you the Source Engine game you need for free! And it is 100% Legal and safe. I have tried it myself. Instructions are in my youtube video:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XGwP1qklxqk

I hope this informational/review was helpful for you. If you have any questions at all, leave a comment!

School Tycoon Review

School Tycoon is a PC game in which you manage a school by hiring staff, choosing the type of classrooms, putting classrooms wherever you want, and by adding decorations to the campus. One of the really cool things about this game is that you can add things to your school that real schools don't have, such as: Mini- golf courses, arcades, half-pipes, and etc. The graphics and sound are also pretty good and you also get to expel students and send them to detention whenever you want. You can also make your own students and spawn disasters.
When you make your school, you get to choose where to place it. You get to place it in farmland, beach areas, and city areas.
One of the most annoying things about this game is that there are always random disasters, such as: tornados, earthquakes, fire, and heavy rain, that occur. The disasters can destroy your buildings and cause you to spend a lot of money on repair. Also, this game can get pretty boring after a while.
This game is rated E for everyone by the ESRB and I recommend it for people who really like tycoons.

Lord of the Rings Online Review

Lord of the Rings Online is a game based on the "The Lord of the Rings" authored by J.R.R. Tolkien. The game is not 100% in line with the book. This game is a massively multiplayer online role playing game (MMORPG). In this game you can be an elf, human, dwarf, or hobbit.
When you make your character, you can choose from many classes such as: Burglar, Hunter, Guardian, Champion, Loremaster, Rune-Keeper, Minstrel, Captain, and Warden. Not all classes are available to all races.
This game has a very good storyline, great graphics, and great sound. A lot of the time spent on this game will be spent completing quests and earning gold and items. This game also allows you to have a pet to assist you in battles, to have a house, and to sell items to other players. Another great benefit is that you can form fellowships and kinships which are like guilds or clans. You can raid many different areas with your fellowship/kinship and can complete quests with your fellow kinship members or fellowship members. However, the best thing is that this game is FREE! This game used to be a pay-to-play, but is now free with an option to pay for a membership in order to receive benefits.
NOTE: You do not need to subscribe to have an incredible amount of fun. Subscribing doesn't make much of a difference in this game.
Note: A fellowship consists of up to 8 people and is not a full fledged guild. A full fledged guild would be a kinship and needs at least 8 people to form it.

CONS:
There are no player versus player matches, which mean players cannot fight against each other. Also, there are no evil races available to play as. Lastly, it takes an INCREDIBLY long time to download.

TO GET THIS GAME:
  1. Go to http://www.lotro.com/free.php?
  2. Fill out the information and click "Get Started"
  3. Follow the instructions to download
  4. Play when it is done installing!
